Mexican stocks fall sharply after trading halt

MEXICO CITY, Nov 19 (Reuters) - Mexican stocks fell sharply on Tuesday after trading resumed following a halt due to technical difficulties.

The IPC stock index shed 1.12 percent to 40,572 points, pulling back after a surge of about 3.6 percent in the previous three sessions to a nearly two-week high. Mexican markets were closed Monday due to a national holiday.
