Mexico's Cemex to issue $1.75 billion worth of bonds

MEXICO CITY, Jan 7 (Reuters) - Mexican cement maker Cemex said on Thursday it plans to issue $1.75 billion worth of senior secured bonds due in 2031 at an annual rate of 3.875%, with proceeds intended to pay down some of its debt.

Monterrey-based Cemex, which operates in more than 50 countries, said the offering for the dollar-denominated bonds will close on Jan. 12. (Reporting by Diego Ore; Writing by Stefanie Eschenbacher; Editing by Ramakrishnan M.)
