LONDON (AP) _ Mimecast Ltd. (MIME) on Monday reported a loss of $1.9 million in its fiscal fourth quarter.
On a per-share basis, the London-based company said it had a loss of 3 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 7 cents per share.
The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of 11 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 9 cents per share.
The cloud security services provider posted revenue of $92.2 million in the period, surpassing Street forecasts. Nine analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $91.5 million.
For the year, the company reported that its loss narrowed to $7 million, or 12 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $340.4 million.
For the current quarter ending in July, Mimecast said it expects revenue in the range of $96.7 million to $97.7 million.
The company expects full-year revenue in the range of $413 million to $427 million.
Mimecast shares have climbed 41% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $47.45, a rise of 14% in the last 12 months.
