Mitsubishi Heavy says liability to Edison has limit, Nikkei says

After Southern California Edison, a unit of Edison International, served formal notice of dispute to Mitsubishi Heavy related to a leak of radioactive materials at a California nuclear station, the equipment maker repeated that its liability for damage is capped at $137M, said the Nikkei. Mitsubishi stated the utility's allegations and demands are "factually incorrect, legally unsound and inappropriate" and that it will "aggressively defend itself by accurately representing the facts involved," Nikkei added.
