Moderna, Electronic Arts Rise Premarket; Tesla, Beyond Meat Fall

Moderna (NASDAQ:MRNA) stock rose 0.4% after the drugmaker revealed the results of a large Covid-19 vaccine trial which showed the protection it offers wanes over time, supporting the case for booster doses.

Didi Global (NYSE:DIDI) ADRs fell 1.1% following a report that the Chinese ride-hailing giant has lost 30% of its daily users since July, when the authorities in its home country began their crackdown on the company.

Electronic Arts (NASDAQ:EA) stock rose 1.9% on the back of the video game company announcing that its highly-anticipated game Battlefield 2042 game is set for a worldwide launch in November. The delay of a month is less than had been feared on Wednesday, when rumors pushed the stock down 6%.

Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) stock fell 0.5% after Cathie Wood’s exchange-traded funds sold more shares, taking the total value of the electric vehicle maker’s stock they’ve offloaded this month to about $266 million.

Danimer Scientific (NYSE:DNMR) stock rose 4.9%, rebounding after Wednesday’s 15% drop on the back of a negative report by short-seller Muddy Waters (NYSE:WAT).

Beyond Meat (NASDAQ:BYND) stock fell 3.4% after Piper Sandler downgraded its stance on the meat-substitute maker to ‘underweight’ from ‘neutral’, citing a lack of retail momentum.

Wynn Resorts (NASDAQ:WYNN) stock fell 2.7% and Las Vegas Sands (NYSE:LVS) stock fell 2.6% after JPMorgan (NYSE:JPM) downgraded both casino operators to ‘neutral’ from ‘overweight’, citing the uncertainty surrounding Chinese regulatory tightening of the gambling resort of Macau.

DoorDash (NYSE:DASH) stock rose 2.6% following Bank of America (NYSE:BAC) upgrading the food delivery company to ‘buy’ from ‘neutral’, citing a “robust” five-year growth opportunity.
