Momoguro NFTs sell out in 9 hours, generates US$7.6 mln of sales
Momoguro: Holoself, an Ethereum-native non-fungible token (NFT) collection launched by Emmy-winning animation studio, Baobab Studios, generated over 12,000 sales worth US$7.6 million on the first day of its launch, according to NFT data aggregator CryptoSlam.

Momoguro: Holoself is a collection of 8,888 Holoself avatars, which will offer holders early access to the upcoming Uno Plane role-playing game (RPG), as well as future digital collectibles and Web 3.0 experiences.
The collection sold out nine hours after minting began, according to Momoguro’s Twitter announcement, making it the leading NFT collection in 24-hour sales volume.
Genesis NFTs were minted for 0.22 ETH, worth around US$344, at the time of publication.
The Momoguro RPG is set to launch in the second quarter of 2023 on layer-2 scaling solution ImmutableX, enabling NFT holders to fuse their “Momos” with other players to create hybrid characters.
