These are the most haunted places in the UK, apparently
October is arguably our time to truly thrive. We love a pumpkin spiced latte, have perfected our ~scary~ Halloween costumes and makeup looks, and even know the best DIY decorations off the top of our heads.
But what if you want to take the Halloween celebrations that little bit further? What if you're hoping to get truly spooked with a haunted house, or a terrifying tower?
Authentic Vacations have rounded up the ancient building in the country that play host to ghost stories, creating a list of the best destinations in the UK for spooky scares and ghostly tales? The places are ranked them based on the number of mentions in scary stories and the percentage of reviews that were scary, and then given a total scare score. While we're not 100 per cent clear on the way that works, rest assured that these places do have scary stories attached to them.
