Today, MTV’s SnowGlobe Music Festival announces an expanded sponsorship program with doubled revenue for the festival’s ninth installment on December 29-31, 2019, in South Lake Tahoe, CA. The annual three-day event welcomes more than 20,000 fans each day with a mix of musical performances, live action sports, and interactive art exhibitions.
SnowGlobe is pleased to feature a robust roster of sponsors including:
Clif Bar and Company, City of South Lake Tahoe, Electric Standard Co., Golden State Cider®, Hornitos® Tequila, Jack Daniel’s®, Klean Kanteen®, Lyft, Java Monster, Michelob ULTRA®, Pollen, Saint Archer Brewing Co., Hop Valley Brewing, Spyder®, Stella Rosa®, Tahoe South®, Truly Hard Seltzer™.
"We’re excited to announce this year we have again doubled the sponsorship revenue generated for SnowGlobe, proving the ViacomCBS events offering is resonating with the marketplace and we hope to continue to drive sponsorships across our 25+ event portfolio," states Adam Steingart, SVP of Viacom Live. "SnowGlobe is unlike any other music festival; the combination of incredible music, breathtaking scenery, and New Year’s timing creates a once in a lifetime shared experience for our attendees and partners; reinforcing ViacomCBS’s commitment to live events that create culture and conversation."
This year, SnowGlobe is teaming up with MTV and HeadCount to get fans excited for the 2020 election and make sure their voices are heard in November. HeadCount volunteers will be on the ground to encourage festival attendees to register to vote and make sure they stay informed about election milestones throughout the year. HeadCount will also have a booth in the MTV Lodge with swag, giveaway contests, and more! This effort is part of MTV’s year-long +1 the Vote campaign to encourage all potential first-time voters to register and vote next November. +1 the Vote is focused on making voting more social, making voting easier and making voting a milestone for first-time voters.
In addition to strict use of compostable and reusable plate ware across the festival, SnowGlobe’s partnership with Proud Source Water allows the festival to alleviate 100% of single-use-plastic from the event; a sustainability achievement that SnowGlobe producers have been working towards since the onset of the festival in 2011.
Now entering its ninth year, the acclaimed music and mountain festival is the largest outdoor NYE music festival in the nation.
