MYOS Corporation Announces Election of New Directors and Appointment of Ren Ren as Global Chairman

CEDAR KNOLLS, NJ--(Marketwired - Mar 8, 2016) - MYOS Corporation ("MYOS" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: MYOS), an emerging biotherapeutics and bionutrition company focused on the discovery, development and commercialization of products that improve human muscle health and performance, announced today that at a special meeting of the Company's stockholders held on March 3, 2016, the Company's stockholders elected Ren Ren, Bin Zhou, Zhengguang Lyu, Guiying Zhao and K. Bryce Toussaint to serve as new members of the Company's Board of Directors in connection with the initial closing of the strategic investment by RENS Technology Inc. ("RENS") in the Company. The new directors will join the Company's existing directors, Dr. Robert J. Hariri, Dr. Louis J. Aronne, Mr. Christopher Pechock and Mr. Joseph Mannello, on the Company's nine-member board. Mr. Ren Ren, founder and chairman of RENS Agriculture Science and Technology Co, Ltd., the parent company of RENS, assumed the newly-created position of Global Chairman of the Company.
