Winners and losers

Stocks in the red include Mylan as the FDA was unable to approve its generic version of GlaxoSmithKline’s inhaled lung drug Advair for the second time, finding “minor deficiencies” in the treatment., Tailored Brands, as the parent company of Men’s Wearhouse, Jos. A. Bank and other apparel brands beat on earnings and revenue, but reported lower than expected same-store sales last quarter and Michaels -profit beat expectations in the first quarter but missed on same-store sales. The craft store blamed the closure of some of its Aaron Brothers stores and a downbeat outlook for the slide.

Stocks in the green include Dropbox as the file hosting service is on pace for its best day since going public in March, this on no news. Is a deal brewing? Etsy, as the seller of artisan and creative goods raised its 2018 revenue growth outlook, citing increased transaction fees and Royal Caribbean as the cruise line said it would buy a 66.7% take in privately owned Silversea Cruises for about $1 billion to add ultra-luxury and expedition cruises to its fleet.
