SAN CARLOS, Calif. (AP) _ Natera Inc. (NTRA) on Wednesday reported a loss of $23.1 million in its third quarter.
The San Carlos, California-based company said it had a loss of 33 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring gains, were 53 cents per share.
The results matched Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for a loss of 53 cents per share.
The genetic testing company posted revenue of $77.9 million in the period, topping Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $75.1 million.
Natera expects full-year revenue in the range of $295 million to $302 million.
Natera shares have more than doubled since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $36.62, an increase of 73% in the last 12 months.
