The bank, based in Birmingham, Alabama, said it had earnings of 45 cents per share.
The bank holding company posted revenue of $30.3 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $27.9 million, exceeding Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $24.7 million.
National Commerce shares have risen 2 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $37.90, a climb of 59 percent in the last 12 months.
