This World Series has America even more riveted than usual. The Washington Nationals are crushing their first appearance and the Houston Astros might become the second team in nearly 35 years to win the whole shebang after losing their first two games at home. Natty Light has just announced it has the perfect drink to accompany the excitement: Nationals Light Seltzer.

Clearly, Natty Light has been swept up in the collective Nats love, too—the underdog story, those impressive dugout dance parties...

According to a press release from Natty Light, the brand feels a bond with The Nationals. “The Washington Nationals are crashing the World Series in 2019 by making their first-ever appearance, just like Natty Light crashed the seltzer party earlier this year.” By the time this summer hit, light and refreshing hard seltzers were all the rage. In August, Natty Light threw its hat into the ring with a version that’s cheaper and higher in alcohol (6% compared to the 5% typical for a brand like White Claw).

In time for game three, Natty Light’s Nationals Light Seltzer will be available tomorrow and throughout the rest of the World Series exclusively from kiosks within Nationals Park. It will come in the brand’s existing flavors, Catalina Lime Mixer: When Cherry & Lime Become Best Friends and Aloha Beaches: When Mango & Peach Go Beach Mode. In a twist of true devotion, Nats fans at one of Natty Light’s distributors, Capital Eagle, hand-taped “Nationals” over the “Natural” in “Natural Light” on several thousand cans. If they can rep team pride with that kind of task, surely we can cheer The Nationals on by imbibing with a Natty Light hard seltzer.
