CARLSBAD, Calif. (AP) _ Natural Alternatives International Inc. (NAII) on Tuesday reported a fiscal fourth-quarter loss of $193,000, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Carlsbad, California-based company said it had a loss of 3 cents.
The nutritional supplements manufacturer posted revenue of $30.3 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported profit of $6.5 million, or 92 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $138.3 million.
Natural Alternatives shares have increased slightly since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $9.85, a decline of 3% in the last 12 months.
