Nazem Kadri is a member of the Colorado Avalanche and his first order of new business is for the team to turn back the clock.

Kadri, who was traded from the Toronto Maple Leafs to the Avalanche on July 1, advocated for his new club to bring back the Quebec Nordiques uniforms, worn by his current general manager and former Nordiques/Avalanche standout Joe Sakic, among other stars of yesteryear.

The drip is spectacular, and we, along with Kadri, are all in favour of the vintage look.

For newer fans, or those who need a refresher, the Nordiques remained in operation through the 1994-95 season before relocating and rebranding as the Colorado Avalanche. It really must’ve hurt for the Quebec City faithful, as the Avalanche lifted the Stanley Cup for the first time in franchise history in 1995-96.

Bring it back, Naz. We’d love to see it.
