NBC's 'Revolution' Responded Brilliantly To The Superdome Power Outage

The Super Bowl may have aired on CBS, but that didn't stop NBC from taking advantage of last night's game.

When the power went out at the Superdome the creative team behind Oreo weren't the only ones with a clever response.

NBC's official Twitter account for its show Revolution sent out a few well-timed tweets to coincide with the blackout.

The show, from creator J.J. Abrams,  takes place in a world without electricity.

Just a taste of what’s to come on March 25. #LightsOut #Revolution

The blackout got others, including former "The Walking Dead" head Glen Mazzara, talking about the NBC show on Twitter, too.

Is this the beginning of the apocalypse? Or a lame stunt promoting Revolution?
