RICHMOND, British Columbia (AP) _ Neovasc Inc. (NVCN) on Wednesday reported a loss of $13.3 million in its third quarter.

The Richmond, British Columbia-based company said it had a loss of 70 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for amortization costs and non-recurring costs, were 61 cents per share.

The medical device company posted revenue of $480,500 in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $481,000.

In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, the company's shares hit $1.79. A year ago, they were trading at $84.
