The bookseller's loss more than doubled in the latest quarter as sales fell and its Nook e-book reader unit lost more money.

Lennar Corp., up 24 cents at $35.23

The homebuilder's second-quarter adjusted earnings and revenue beat analyst expectations and new orders and deliveries rose.

Walgreen Co., down $2.83 at $45.22

The drugstore chain's fiscal third quarter earnings rose 16 percent compared to last year, but the results still missed expectations.

Carnival Corp., up $1.67 at $34.89

The cruise company posted a $41 million fiscal second-quarter profit on lower fuel costs and the timing of some expenses.

Netflix Inc., down $2.70 at $212.90

Bernstein Research downgraded the streaming video company's stock, saying that investors are overly optimistic about its growth.

Impax Laboratories Inc., up $1.09 at $19

The pharmaceutical company announced that its CEO plans to retire and will stay with the company until a replacement is named.

Hercules Offshore Inc., up 19 cents at $7.02

An International Strategy & Investment Group analyst upgraded shares of the offshore drilling company, citing recent deals.

Mitek Systems Inc., down $1.26 at $5.26

Shares of the mobile imaging software maker fell after the San Diego-based company announced plans for a stock offering.
