NetSeer Forms Strategic Alliance With LiveRamp to Make Intent Data Directly Available to Advertisers

Integration Enables Brands to Tap NetSeer's Data Signals, Use Their First-Party Data for Smarter Prospecting and Retargeting Strategies

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA--(Marketwired - Oct 16, 2014) - NetSeer, the creator of concept-based targeting for advertisers and publishers, today announced a strategic partnership with LiveRamp, the leading data onboarder enabling brands to connect customer data to marketing applications. Through this alliance, brands will be able to integrate their first-party data with NetSeer's lookalike and user-intent segments to optimize their prospecting and campaign performance.

NetSeer's proprietary audience signals originate from its patented ConceptGraph intent engine. With more than 500 million unique audience profiles, NetSeer's predictive logic drives better ROI, conversion and yield for advertisers by pinpointing individuals with the greatest likelihood to take a specific action. LiveRamp enables marketers to gain even more value from NetSeer data by facilitating the transfer of first-party CRM data to NetSeer to then expand in the form of actionable lookalike audiences.

The combined data set expands marketers' reach, enabling them not only to retarget consumers that have interacted previously with their brand but also to prospect for new, lookalike audiences whose actions and content interests are similar to converted customers. Marketers also can reduce brand fatigue and maximize ad budget efficiency by suppressing existing customers from acquisition campaigns.

"Today, there's an untapped potential for programmatic advertising to evolve into the ultimate prospecting tool. It's now possible to look upstream and capture the next wave of prospects that look and act like your current best customers," said NetSeer CEO, John Mracek.

The integration between NetSeer and LiveRamp further allows NetSeer to fast-track the distribution of data segments directly to LiveRamp partners, including the world's leading data management platforms (DMPs) and demand side platforms (DSPs).

"We're excited to partner with NetSeer to help more marketers benefit from concept-based targeting strategies," said Auren Hoffman, CEO of LiveRamp. "Through LiveRamp's data distribution capabilities, Netseer can now enable advertisers and agencies to layer powerful intent data directly on top of their media buying platforms."
