NH companies seek opportunities in Singapore

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) -- Leaders in New Hampshire's aerospace and defense industries are getting some help boosting their business in Singapore.

The state's International Trade Resource Center arranged for a U.S. Department of Commerce trade specialist who's familiar with the industry in Singapore to meet with representatives from New Hampshire companies on Monday and Tuesday.

The center's director, Tina Kasim, says Singapore is New Hampshire's 15th largest trading partner and is an attractive market for its growing aerospace industry and U.S. style of doing business.
