Nick Jonas's Favorite Jonas Brothers Song Is Miley Cyrus Duet "Before the Storm"
Nick Jonas and Miley Cyrus have come a long way since their teenage days, when the two young musicians were our ultimate celeb couple, who also ruled the Disney Channel. Miley was even Nick’s first kiss! Now, they’ve both got massively successful careers and have found their true loves; Nick is married to actress Priyanka Chopra and Miley tied the knot with her longtime love, Liam Hemsworth, in December. Miley and Nick’s romance may not have lasted — they dated for about a year and split in 2007 — but their admiration for each other is obvious years later.
According to Us Weekly, Nick sang Miley’s praises during a recent interview with Apple Music’s “Chart” radio show. “She’s a real singer,” Nick said of Miley. “But we knew that ‘cause we grew up with her.”
Nick didn’t stop there, continuing to talk about just how talented his ex is. “We had a song with her back in the day called ‘Before the Storm,’ which is my favorite catalogue song of the Jonas Brothers,” he said. “And at that point she was 16 and she was singing her *ss off. So, it’s no surprise now that people are coming around to [her talent]. But I’m sitting around going, ‘Told you so.’”
The admiration is mutual for Miley; recently, she joked about marrying a Jonas Brother (that’d be Nick) and she complimented Nick’s wife, Priyanka, on Instagram, and fans lost it. It’s worth noting that their partners, Priyanka and Liam, also star in Isn’t it Romantic?, which is a pretty funny coincidence. Clearly, Miley and Nick have nothing but love and respect for each other, and that makes our hearts so happy.
