In the latest trading session, Nikola (NKLA) closed at $5.61, marking a -1.06% move from the previous day. This change lagged the S&P 500's daily gain of 3.06%. Elsewhere, the Dow gained 2.68%, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq added 0.05%.

Prior to today's trading, shares of the pioneer in zero-emission trucks had lost 16.37% over the past month. This has lagged the Auto-Tires-Trucks sector's gain of 2.56% and the S&P 500's loss of 4.31% in that time.
