Nokia wins round vs. RIM

Cellphone maker Nokia (NOK) said it won a key court ruling in its patent battle with BlackBerry maker Research In Motion (RIMM). Nokia seeks to stop RIM from selling BlackBerry devices with disputed Wi-Fi tech until they agree on royalty payments. They have a cross-licensing pact, but have argued over whether it covers Wi-Fi. RIM's U.S. market share shrank to 1.6% in the past year, as Apple (AAPL) iPhone and smartphones running Google's (GOOG) Android platform gained. Nokia shares rose 3.2% to 3.27 and RIM rose 3.5% to 11.10.
