North Korean state TV broadcasts military parade in Pyongyang

SEOUL, Oct 10 (Reuters) - North Korean state television began broadcasting footage on Saturday of a military parade that South Korean authorities said had occurred in the pre-dawn hours earlier in the day.

The parade was widely expected and was being closely watched by analysts and officials in South Korea and the United States for signs of new long-range ballistic missiles, which North Korea has not displayed in a public parade since early 2018. (Reporting by Josh Smith, Editing by William Maclean)
