North West Wears Flowers in Hair on Kim Kardashian's Instagram
Being Kim Kardashian's eldest daughter comes with some major perks. Aside from having the best wardrobe — like a casual section of your closet dedicated to your equally casual collection of Balmain — to having access to the best makeup artists in the world, it's pretty good to be North West. Now, it's turns out that North is also the ultimate hairstyle influencer, too.
On Wednesday, May 23, Kim Instagrammed an adorable pic of North sitting on a boulder in Wyoming (where dad Kanye West is reportedly recording new music), a breathtaking vista of mountains in the background. It's a picturesque scene, to be sure, but what commenters can't get over is North's hairstyle, which features two neat rows of french braids adorned with dandelion flowers. "This is so cute and now these flower braids are my goals this summer," one user wrote. "I want this to be my hair, we need to find flowers!” gushed another.
Just shy of five years old, North is already a bonafide beauty and fashion star. She has attended multiple international fashion weeks alongside her famous family. And as it turns out, the summer-ready hair look seems to have been inspired by a young Kim herself: In another Instagram post, Kim threw back to when she was 17 years old. In the image, she was rocking a hairstyle featuring flower-shaped barrettes.
In a 2017 interview with WWD, Kim revealed that North has somewhat of a penchant for beauty vlogging, so only time will tell if one day, the eldest Kardashian-West child will be giving us the step-by-step on how to achieve her favorite looks. "My daughter watches so many YouTube tutorials and videos, and she was unboxing the My Little Pony ColourPop collection, and I thought to myself, 'I wish I was recording this,' because her reaction was so funny. And then she did makeup on the My Little Pony that they gave, and she said, 'Mom, I want to do a YouTube video,'" Kim said. Is it too soon to ask for a mother-daughter summer hair tutorial? Just putting the idea out there...
