Northern Dynasty unit preparing appeal for U.S. Army Corps' decision on Pebble mine

Dec 3 (Reuters) - Canada's Northern Dynasty Minerals said on Thursday its unit, Pebble Partnership, was preparing an appeal after the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers denied a key water permit to the company's Alaskan mine, putting the project's future in doubt.

The Pebble mine has one of the world's largest copper and gold deposits and is operated by Northern Dynasty Minerals. (Reporting by Arundhati Sarkar in Bengaluru; Editing by Anil D'Silva)
