RIO DE JANEIRO (AP) _ Oi SA (OIBRQ) on Wednesday reported a loss of $1.42 billion in its first quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Rio De Janeiro-based company said it had a loss of 24 cents.
The telecommunications company posted revenue of $1.07 billion in the period.
The company's shares closed at 22 cents. A year ago, they were trading at 40 cents.
