On a per-share basis, the Chicago-based company said it had net income of 58 cents.
The maker of products for soil in the agriculture, horticulture and sports sectors posted revenue of $65.2 million in the period.
Oil-Dri shares have dropped 10 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Friday, shares hit $34.39, a climb of 1 percent in the last 12 months.
