HAMPTON, Va. (AP) _ Old Point Financial Corp. (OPOF) on Wednesday reported net income of $2 million in its first quarter.
The bank, based in Hampton, Virginia, said it had earnings of 39 cents per share.
The bank holding company posted revenue of $13.3 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $11.8 million, surpassing Street forecasts.
Old Point Financial shares have decreased 3.5 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $21.08, a fall of 20 percent in the last 12 months.
