HIGHLAND HILLS, Ohio (AP) _ Olympic Steel Inc. (ZEUS) on Friday reported a fourth-quarter loss of $1.3 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Highland Hills, Ohio-based company said it had a loss of 11 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 14 cents per share.
The steel maker posted revenue of $429.6 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported profit of $33.8 million, or $2.95 per share. Revenue was reported as $1.72 billion.
Olympic Steel shares have climbed 39 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has declined 17 percent in the last 12 months.
