HOUSTON (AP) _ Omega Protein Corp. (OME) on Wednesday reported fourth-quarter earnings of $4.3 million.
On a per-share basis, the Houston-based company said it had profit of 19 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 30 cents per share.
The specialty fish meal products and nutritional ingrediants company posted revenue of $84.6 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported profit of $32.9 million, or $1.46 per share. Revenue was reported as $390.8 million.
Omega Protein shares have risen roughly 5 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $26.25, a climb of 12 percent in the last 12 months.
