MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (AP) _ Omnicell Inc. (OMCL) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter profit of $22.1 million.
The Mountain View, California-based company said it had profit of 51 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 77 cents per share.
The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 78 cents per share.
The Omnicell Inc. posted revenue of $248.3 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported profit of $61.3 million, or $1.43 per share. Revenue was reported as $897 million.
For the current quarter ending in April, Omnicell expects its per-share earnings to range from 52 cents to 57 cents.
The company expects full-year earnings in the range of $2.96 to $3.16 per share.
Omnicell shares have increased nearly 7% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $87.33, a climb of 34% in the last 12 months.
