ONE Gas: 4Q Earnings Snapshot

TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ ONE Gas Inc. (OGS) on Wednesday reported fourth-quarter earnings of $44.7 million.

The Tulsa, Oklahoma-based company said it had net income of 84 cents per share.

The results fell short of Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 85 cents per share.

The natural gas distribution posted revenue of $464.5 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported profit of $172.2 million, or $3.25 per share. Revenue was reported as $1.63 billion.

ONE Gas expects full-year earnings to be $3.27 to $3.57 per share.

ONE Gas shares have risen slightly more than 6 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $84.63, a climb of 25 percent in the last 12 months.
