Livestreaming video platform Twitch has announced an exclusive multi-year broadcasting partnership with esports team OpTic Gaming.

As part of the partnership, Twitch will work with OpTic to “build each streamer’s presence on the platform and elevate the streamer experience for each player and their viewers.” OpTic’s roster of players will broadcast exclusively on Twitch.

OpTic Gaming is not the first major esports organization to enter an exclusive streaming partnership with Twitch. The organization joins teams Cloud9, Team SoloMid, Evil Geniuses, Virtus.pro, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and others in selecting Twitch as their exclusive streaming platform of choice.

It’s worth noting that the partnership announcement only focused on broadcasting, and did not mention whether Twitch would be involved in the sales side of operations for OpTic. In November 2016 had announced partnerships with Cloud9 and TSM to exclusively represent the two teams in sponsorship sales deals, with a focus on brands outside of the gaming sector.

OpTic Gaming fields rosters across multiple games, with a focus on shooters. Titles include Call of Duty, CS:GO, Halo and Gears of War.

In related news, Twitch made a number of announcements yesterday. Twitch will be hosting an E3 Arena with tournaments for Street Fighter V, Injustice 2, and Tekken 7.
