WILLEMSTAD, Netherlands Antilles (AP) _ Orthofix International NV (OFIX) on Monday reported a fourth-quarter loss of $3.2 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
The Willemstad, Netherlands Antilles-based company said it had a loss of 18 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 42 cents per share.
The medical device maker posted revenue of $108.5 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported net income of $3.1 million, or 17 cents per share, swinging to a profit in the period. Revenue was reported as $409.8 million.
Orthofix expects full-year earnings in the range of $1.48 to $1.58 per share, with revenue in the range of $407 million to $411 million.
Orthofix shares have increased slightly more than 5 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $38.13, climbing slightly in the last 12 months.
