MIDVALE, Utah (AP) _ Overstock.com Inc. (OSTK) on Monday reported a loss of $42.3 million in its fourth quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Midvale, Utah-based company said it had a loss of $1.39. Losses, adjusted for asset impairment costs and non-recurring costs, were $1.15 per share.

The online discount retailer posted revenue of $452.5 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported that its loss widened to $206.1 million, or $6.83 per share. Revenue was reported as $1.82 billion.

Overstock shares have risen 50 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has fallen 55 percent in the last 12 months.
