What’s better than pizza? Halloween-themed pizza, of course.

With a little guidance from the InStyle team, you can make your own spooky margherita pizza this All Hallows’ Eve, complete with mozzarella ghosts! Check out the video above for a visual guide.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Pizza dough

  • Fresh mozzarella

  • Tomato sauce

  • Black olives

  • Green olives

  • Fresh rosemary

Once you’ve gathered all the essentials, you can get to work. First off, shape your pizza dough into the pie. After you’ve crafted a pizza-perfect silhouette, it’s time to spread the tomato sauce across the dough’s surface—but leave about an inch of clean dough around the edge for the crust.

Now that the basics are in place, it’s time to get ~spooky~. Take your mozzarella slices and cut them into ghost-shaped slices. Once you’ve placed the ghosts on the surface of the sauce, you’re ready to give them some discerning features. Take your black olives and chop them into little tiny pieces that will act as the ghosts’ eyes and mouths.

For yet another festive feature, cut slivers into the sides of your green olives and stuff them with sprigs of rosemary (aka spider legs), and place them on the pizza’s surface.

Now, all that’s left is to bake your harrowing (and delicious) creation—keep it the pizza in the oven for 10 minutes at 450 degrees.

Enjoy!
