SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) _ Pacific Ethanol Inc. (PEIX) on Wednesday reported a loss of $12.9 million in its first quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Sacramento, California-based company said it had a loss of 29 cents.
The ethanol producer posted revenue of $355.8 million in the period.
In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, the company's shares hit $1.08. A year ago, they were trading at $3.35.
