SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) _ Pacific Ethanol Inc. (PEIX) on Wednesday reported a loss of $7.6 million in its second quarter.
On a per-share basis, the Sacramento, California-based company said it had a loss of 17 cents.
The ethanol producer posted revenue of $346.3 million in the period.
In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, the company's shares hit 54 cents. A year ago, they were trading at $2.93.
