Palantir Technologies settles hiring discrimination allegations

WASHINGTON, April 25 (Reuters) - Palantir Technologies Inc has entered into a consent decree with the U.S. Labor Department to resolve charges it discriminated against Asian applicants in hiring for engineering jobs, the department said in a statement on Tuesday.

Palantir, a privately owned computer software and services company, will pay $1.7 million in back wages and other monetary relief, including the value of stock options, to those who were discriminated against and offer jobs to eight people, the statement said.
