Pan American Silver (PAAS) Reports Q2 Loss, Lags Revenue Estimates

Pan American Silver (PAAS) came out with a quarterly loss of $0.03 per share versus the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $0.14. This compares to earnings of $0.22 per share a year ago. These figures are adjusted for non-recurring items.

This quarterly report represents an earnings surprise of -121.43%. A quarter ago, it was expected that this silver mining company would post earnings of $0.22 per share when it actually produced earnings of $0.15, delivering a surprise of -31.82%.

Over the last four quarters, the company has not been able to surpass consensus EPS estimates.

Pan American Silver , which belongs to the Zacks Mining - Silver industry, posted revenues of $340.47 million for the quarter ended June 2022, missing the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 16.21%.
