CURITIBA, Brazil (AP) _ Companhia Paranaense de Energia (ELP) on Wednesday reported second-quarter net income of $98.3 million.
On a per-share basis, the Curitiba, Brazil-based company said it had profit of 35 cents.
The power company posted revenue of $1 billion in the period.
Paranaense de Energia shares have dropped 32 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has decreased 38 percent in the last 12 months.
