Pasadena Tournament of Roses(R) Association Now Taking Reservations for the 2014 VIZIO BCS National Championship Game at the Rose Bowl Stadium

Unique TeamTix Reservation System Gives Fans Advanced Ticket Access to See Their Favorite Team Play for the 2014 VIZIO BCS National Championship Game

PASADENA, CA--(Marketwire - Feb 6, 2013) - Expecting to unleash a new wave of excitement among college football fans wanting to experience the last ever BCS National Championship if their team qualifies, the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association, in partnership with TeamTix, today announced the opening of the historic game's annual TeamTix "forward market" reservation system at http://bcschampionship.teamtix.com. With the TeamTix platform, fans will have the ability to reserve the right to purchase a face value ticket to the 2014 VIZIO BCS National Championship, long before the college football season begins, ensuring them a seat if their team makes it to this momentous gridiron battle.

On the heels of an exciting 2012 college football season and approaching the last year of the traditional BCS post-season set-up, the anticipation of the final BCS National Championship as we know it has already begun. Marking the ninth year of the TeamTix reservation system, the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association is providing college football fans an engaging and exciting way to reserve highly sought-after, face-value tickets for the 2014 VIZIO BCS National Championship, to be played in Pasadena, California, at the newly renovated Rose Bowl Stadium on January 6, 2014.

The system is easy and straightforward: football fans from across the nation can go to the official Pasadena Tournament of Roses site at http://bcschampionship.teamtix.com to purchase a TeamTix reservation for the game for as little as $10. If their team receives a berth to the game, that fan can purchase a ticket at face value. If the fan's team is not selected, the TeamTix reservation expires. Fans can also resell or trade their reservations in the 2014 VIZIO BCS National Championship Game's hosted TeamTix market exchange, where reservation prices rise and fall based on each team's on-field performance and demand for tickets. In addition, special TeamTix Twitter hashtags will enable fans to closely follow their team in the marketplace to buy, sell and trade in real time.

"This is going to be an incredibly memorable year for us with the renovated stadium, the 100th Rose Bowl Game presented by VIZIO, 125th anniversary of the Rose Parade presented by Honda and hosting the last BCS National Championship Game in its current format," said Bill Flinn, Executive Director of the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association. "TeamTix enables us to offer fans the incredible experience we strive to deliver, and also provides a way for them to engage with us and each other as they wait in anticipation for the 2013 season. This system has worked exceptionally well in the past and we look forward to its success again this year."

"We are proud to be partnering with the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association to turn fans' dreams of attending the last BCS National Championship Game into realities," states Tim Browne, TeamTix President. "This is such an exciting time for college football and we are thrilled to be able to offer diehard fans the access they want, especially as we look toward the new playoff set up."

The TeamTix reservation platform is tested and proven -- several organizations including the Big Ten Network are licensees.
