PC Magazine Features Vuzix's Award-Winning "No-Nonsense" Smart Glasses

Positive Review Highlights Vuzix's Advancements in Both Style and Functionality

SANTA MONICA, CA / ACCESSWIRE / March 3, 2017 / Online Media Group Inc. Covers Vuzix Corporation (NASDAQ: VUZI).

In an article entitled "Hands On: Vuzix's No-Nonsense AR Smart Glasses", PC Magazine, one of the most circulated and respected publications focused on emerging technologies, offered a review of Vuzix's award-winning M300 Smart Glasses, as well as the more robust M3000 model (http://www.pcmag.com/news/352033/hands-on-vuzixs-no-nonsense-ar-smart-glasses).

"These feature-packed M300 and M3000 augmented reality glasses are enterprise-ready," wrote PC Magazine writer, Rob Marvin. "The M300 and M3000 are a huge step up in design and capabilities from the Vuzix M100 Smart Glasses the company exhibited at last year's show."

The "huge" technological step Vuzix has taken from one generation of Smart Glasses to the next was on full display at the CES show in January, an exhibition that has generated significant interest in the growing company's award-winning AR (Augmented Reality) products. Of the slew of AR Smart Glasses on display from big companies like Lenovo, it was Vuzix's Smart Glasses that stood out. To wit: the PC Magazine article compares Vuzix's M300 Smart Glasses favorably to Google Glass.

"The ruggedized jet black design is like a more mature, business-focused cousin to Google Glass. The dual nose guards give them a feel like regular glasses and a distinct comfort factor during prolonged on-the-job use."

The market for advanced Smart Glasses like Vuzix's M300 is expected to grow exponentially. The number of US workers who use Smart Glasses is anticipated to increase form 400,000 in 2017 to over 14 million by 2025. Enterprises will spend over $30 billion on Smart Glasses hardware over the same period.

The market for the M300 Smart Glasses is projected to be "at least" ten times that of the M100 which should yield the growing company significant revenues.
