The “Peloton wife” is expanding her resume! On the heels of the viral and seemingly controversial commercial for the Peloton exercise bike, Ryan Reynolds is capitalizing with a hilarious ad of his own. The actor took to his Instagram Friday evening to share a promotional clip for his new distilled spirits line, Aviation Gin, starring the memorable woman from the Peloton commercial, who has now been revealed as actress Monica Ruiz.

“Exercise bike not included,” he captioned the hilarious 30-second ad along with the hashtag, #AviationGin. Fans and celebrities alike immediately flooded the comments, applauding the actor for his timely ad. “This is next level. 😂😂,” Chris Pratt said while a fan commented, “Is that the chick from the Peloton commercial? 🚲 hahahaha.”

In the clip, Ruiz is seen staring off into the distance while seated at a bar with friends. “This gin is really smooth,” she says, appearing exhausted.

“We can get you another one” one friend says while the other adds, “You’re safe here.”

“To new beginnings,” Ruiz says as she downs the entire cocktail.

“There you go, take this too. You look great by the way!” one friend adds, which is clearly a cheeky nod to the now infamous exercise commercial.

The holiday ad for the workout bike came under fire last week for a variety of reasons. The ad starts off with Ruiz — a thin and healthy-looking woman — being gifted the bike by her husband on Christmas morning, and follows her through her year-long fitness journey. “A year ago, I didn’t realize how much this would change me,” she says at the end of the commercial before thanking her husband.

Not only did viewers take issue with the fact that the husband was gifting his wife with a piece of exercise equipment, but that the woman was already in seemingly good health and therefore makes the ad seem less credible. “That peloton commercial with the already-thin lady, who’s ‘so nervous’ to start her new routine even though it means SLEEPING IN (!!!) until 6am has got to go,” one user on Twitter wrote.
