NEW YORK (AP) _ PennantPark Floating Rate Capital Ltd. (PFLT) on Wednesday reported a fiscal second-quarter loss of $5.5 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
The New York-based company said it had a loss of 14 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for investment costs, were 30 cents per share.
The investment company posted revenue of $23 million in the period.
PennantPark shares have risen 15% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $13.35, a decrease of almost 1% in the last 12 months.
