We as human beings are conditioned to like tiny, cute things. Show me a pancake, fine, I like it, but show me someone making a tiny pancake in a tiny kitchen and I will be enthralled for hours. Animals, purses, even Yodas; everything is made all the more adorable when put in teensy, tiny package. So I guess it only makes sense that people on TikTok are obsessed with these mystery balls with mini versions of popular products in them.

These 5 Surprise Mini Brands balls are selling out on places like Target, Walmart, Amazon, and more and all because people are loving opening them on camera. On the surface, it's like your classic unboxing video. You get one of these balls and have no idea what's in them. You turn on the camera and you and the viewer find out together what treasures you got. Thrilling!

But the treasures, in this case, are like something you'd find in a Barbie Dream House. They're tiny plastic version of popular products from tiny boxes of Mentos, to little cartons of Breyer's ice cream, to tiny bottles of Kikkoman soy sauce. Of course, these little toys are not actually full of a tablespoon of ice cream or a dab of soy sauce, but that's not the point. Look how little they are!

Videos unboxing (unballing???) the balls have racked up more than 200 million views on TikTok, according to a release, and more than 17 million of them have been sold. As such, it's pretty hard to get your hands on one, though some retailers like Walmart and Amazon have them in limited availabilities.

If mini versions of your favorite brands aren't your thing, the company also sells other balls containing other types of toys, so you can always pick up one of those. No promises that will make you go viral though!

I guess this is just one of those weird things that gets popular that we're not meant to quite understand. As someone who definitely purchased packs of Silly Bandz and fidget spinners, who am I to judge?
