Elected and Appointed

Baker & Hostetler elected Jeffry Duffy to partnership. Duffy, a member of the firm’s litigation group, uses his experience as a litigator and former diplomat to advise clients on all aspects of dispute resolution. He concentrates his practice on antitrust and unfair competition, insurance and reinsurance coverage, and commercial and civil rights litigation. His international experience, including diplomatic service in Japan and Singapore, translates into cross-cultural communication and cooperation with counterparts and adversaries on behalf of clients.

Cole Schotz elevated lawyers in its New Jersey office to members. Robert DiPisa is a member of the firm’s real estate department and is resident in the New Jersey office. DiPisa counsels developers, real estate equity and opportunity funds, real estate investment trusts, investors, owners and tenants in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions. His practice includes advising clients with respect to acquisitions, dispositions, development and retail leasing. David Gold is a member of the firm’s intellectual property and litigation departments, as well as the restaurant and hospitality industry group and is resident in the New Jersey office. Gold counsels artists and creative entrepreneurs including musicians and other performing artists, authors, fashion designers, photographers and graphic designers, as well as arts organizations, media and marketing companies and other corporate entities.

King, Spry, Herman, Freund & Faul reappointed Kevin Reid to the law firm’s executive committee for a four-year term. Reid is a former managing partner for King Spry and the chair of the firm’s public finance law practice group. A litigator and transactional attorney, Reid serves as bond counsel in numerous municipal transactions for school districts, cities and townships, as well as serving as solicitor and special counsel to various public school districts.

Rosenthal has experience in high-stakes corporate litigation, defending companies in multiple industries against claims involving class actions, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act/Junk Fax Prevention Act, consumer fraud and privacy, labeling and false advertising, contracts, business torts, software and technology, intellectual property, civil RICO, securities/shareholder actions, financial industry arbitration, professional liability and the alien tort statute.
