PLYMOUTH, Mich. (AP) _ Perceptron Inc. (PRCP) on Wednesday reported a fiscal fourth-quarter loss of $8.4 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
The Plymouth, Michigan-based company said it had a loss of 87 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for severance costs, came to 9 cents per share.
The industrial measurement and inspection company posted revenue of $18.2 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported a loss of $6.8 million, or 71 cents per share, swinging to a loss in the period. Revenue was reported as $76.8 million.
In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, the company's shares hit $4.40. A year ago, they were trading at $10.81.
