Peru to auction $2 bln Michiquillay copper project Nov 15

LIMA, Aug 31 (Reuters) - Peru will award rights to develop the proposed Michiquillay mine that holds an estimated 1.159 billion tonnes in copper resources on Nov. 15, state bidding agency Proinversion said on Thursday.

Anglo American Plc returned Michiquillay to Peru in late 2014 due to capital constraints. (Reporting by Mitra Taj; Editing by James Dalgleish)
